Abstract
The introduction of laparoscopic cholecystectomy has been associated with a rise in the number of reported bile duct injuries (0.3 %-0.8% ). Significa nt vascular injuries are rare (0.16%), but may lead to life-threatening com plications. We present a case report of a patient undergoing transplantion for a laparoscopic cholecystectomy injury.
