Methods for obtaining the spin labels (nitroxyl macroradicals) in the tetra
fluoroethylene-hexafluoropropylene copolymer were developed. The radicals a
re formed by thermal or photochemical free-radical reactions of the product
s of the interaction of alkyl and peroxide macroradicals with nitrogen oxid
e. Two types of spin labels, containing the paramagnetic fragment in the mi
ddle or at the end of the macromolecule, are obtained: R-F'-CF2-N(O) over d
ot-CF2-R-F" and R-F'-CF2-N(O) over dot-CF3. The range of their thermal stab
ility and parameters of their EPR spectra are determined.
