Abstract
The non-uniform affinity of polyclonal antibodies is a major problem when t hese antibodies are used in immunochemical-based environmental applications . A specific affinity chromatography procedure was developed to extract sel ectively anti-isoproturon antibodies from a crude polyclonal antiserum. The se antibodies were fully characterized and helped to improve the performanc es of immunoaffinity extraction and an indirect enzyme immunoassay. (C) 199 8 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
