New photoelectric UBVR observations were obtained for the eclipsing variabl
e EY Ori which cover previously unobserved phases of the secondary minimum.
We provide a refined ephemeris of the primary minimum and discuss the poss
ible apsidal motion in the system. We solve all of the light curves, includ
ing our previous ones, by Lavrov's direct method and determine the photomet
ric orbital elements. We adduce arguments that EY Ori belongs to the star-f
orming region in Orion. The expected absolute parameters of the components
and the system's orbital elements are given. We discuss the nature of the c
omponents and the difficulties in interpreting our results.
