Abstract
The sublattice modelling is applied for the case of mu-phase taking into ac count the crystallographic information and solubility range data. Three sub lattice models are proposed and applied for the mu-phase. The models are us ed in the thermodynamic optimisation of the Co-Nb system. The results obtai ned using the models are compared and some conclusions are drawn.
