Abstract
ZnS nanocrystallites effectively enhanced photo-reduction of chlorinated be nzene derivatives in the presence of triethylamine as a sacrificial electro n donor under UV irradiation (lambda > 300 nm), leading to selective and st epwise dechlorination to give benzene at the final stage.
