Three novel low-dimensional organic/inorganic hybrid materials, assembled h
ydrothermally, are constructed from diphosphopentamolybdate(VI) clusters li
nked through {Cu(en)}(2+) groups; the initial Mo/Cu and Mo/en ratios and th
e use of F- ions control the connectivity between the phosphomolybdate clus
ters and {Cu(en)}(2+) groups, and hence the dimensionality of the solid arc
hitectures.
