Abstract
Reaction of CoCl2. 6H(2)O with pyrazine and disodium terephthalate in water results in the formation of a neutral cavity-containing rectangular grid, [Co(pyz)(terph)(H2O)(2)], which includes a tightly bound aromatic as a gues t; classification of these frameworks also provides targets for chemical sy nthesis.
