Abstract
There is no doubt that angina patients with symptomatic ischemia face a poo r prognosis and that treatment of these patients is necessary. However,ther e is no consensus regarding the prognostic value or treatment of silent isc hemia in patients with stable angina. It is in this context that the advant ages of treating silent ischemia are presented.
