Abstract
This paper is dealing with some relevant aspects which occur in the theory of time varying discrete Hamiltonian systems. The questions of dichotomy an d disconjugacy are investigated in an enlarged context and some connections with the Riccati equation theory are pointed out. (C) 1998 Elsevier Scienc e Ltd.
