Abstract
The influence of the heat exchange on the inhibiting efficiency of some het erocyclic derivatives against copper corrosion in 3.5% NaCl was studied. Te sts were performed under heat exchange conditions with Delta T = 60 degrees C and the results were compared with those obtained in isothermal conditio ns at 35 degrees C, The inhibiting efficiency of the heterocyclic derivativ es (thiadiazole, thiazoline, thiazole derivatives and 2Thioidantoine), at 1 0(-3) M and 10(-4) M concentration was evaluated. Some of the tested substa nces (in particularly 2Mercapto-5Methyl-Thiadiazole and 2Amino-5Mercapto-Th iadiazole) showed high inhibiting efficiency against copper corrosion in 3. 5% NaCl solution under heat exchange conditions with Delta T = 60 degrees C .
