Abstract
A lithium ion battery, using a poly(acrylonitrile) PAN-based polymer electr olyte, a graphite film anode and a chromium-stabilized manganese spinel fil m cathode has been fabricated by the direct lamination of the components. T he characteristics and the performance of this new type of plastic recharge able power source are here presented and discussed.
