Abstract
Nuclear medicine benefits not only the people of developed countries but al so those who are in developing or deteriorating countries. The combination of diagnostic imaging, tissue characterisation, function measurement and ta rgeted therapy is powerful and cost-effective. This congress provides a sam ple of nuclear medicine's contribution to the world.
