The clinical-genealogic analysis of 262 patients with endometrial carcinoma
at the Belaya Tserkov interdistrict dispensary was conducted. The informat
ion about the morbidity of 1777 relatives of the first relationship's degre
e and 2647 relatives of the second relationship's degree were received. Can
cer was detected in 41.22% pedigrees, endometrial carcinoma, cancer of the
woman reproduction system and cancer of gastrointestinal tract were detecte
d more often than other tumors. Synchronous and metachronous primary multip
le tumors were detected in 19 cases. Apparently it should be supposed that
total predisposition to the development of the malignant neoplasms take pla
ce both for probands and for their relatives. The results of investigation
bear witness to the necessity of inspection of close relatives for the purp
ose to reveal earlier forms of the malignant tumors in families with cancer
.
