Abstract
This correspondence describes a method for finding orthogonal wavelet filte rs with minimum out of tile energy (OTE). An objective function bounding th e OTE is found and minimized using the Nelder-Meade simplex algorithm. Gene ral results are discussed, and a 2'-coefficient filter is presented.
