A semiconductor photographic system for high-speed measurement

In this paper the applicability of using a photographic system with a semic onductor photodetect or for recording radiation from a pulsed laser is inve stigated. The semiconductor photodetector is chromium-doped gallium arsenid e. With an oscilloscope and a pulsed laser, the speed properties of this ki nd of photographic system is investigated experimentally. This device is pr omising for applications in slave made photography of rapid processes in th e spectral region of the pulsed Al2O3:Nd3+ laser (lambda = 1.06 mu m).
