Abstract
The Raman spectra of 29 alkenyl methyl ethers, CnH2n-1OMe, of diverse struc ture containing up to seven carbon atoms reveal reliable correlations betwe en the wavenumber of the upsilon(C=C) and upsilon(sp(2)-CH) stretching band s and the position, stereochemistry and substitution pattern of the double bond.
