Thermodynamic parameters for the formation of pyrophosphate-protonated polyamine complexes

This work reports thermodynamic parameters for the complex formation of pyr ophosphate-protonated amines (ethylenediamine, diethylenetriamine, triethyl enetetramine, tetraethylenepentamine and pentaethylenehexamine): as already found for log K, the T Delta S degrees parameter also shows a linear depen dence on the charges involved in the formation reaction.
