Abstract
This paper reports a case of dental erosion apparently caused by wine tasting. Dental erosion can cause extensive damage to the dentition, t hereby creating a variety of complex restorative problems. Within the literature dental erosion has been attributed to many factors, but to date there are no documented cases specifically linking it with wine t asting. The dental professional is ideally placed to implement early p reventive regimes which would make the occupation less damaging to the dentition.
