Abstract
The regularities of the variation of the fluorescence quantum yield of thre e-component solutions (the 3-amino-N-methylphthalimide-n-heptane-pyridine s ystem) are studied in the entire region of compositions of a binary solvent and for various wavelengths of the exciting light. This is used as a basis for proposing and making a preliminary test of an original method for find ing the statistical distribution functions of excited dye molecules over th e composition of their solvate shells.
