Abstract
The chemiluminescence quantum yields of lucigenin and long alkyl lucigenins in two phase solvent systems (water/organic solvent) are increased by a fa ctor as high as 12 while the chemiluminescence (CL) signals are increased b y a factor as high as 80, compared to those in water. The role of the orien tation of the CL substrate imposed by the interface is discussed. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
