Abstract
The application to the two series of classical twisted affine Kac-Moody alg ebras A(l)((2)) (for l greater than or equal to 2) and D-l((2)) (for l grea ter than or equal to 3) of the matrix formulation of automorphisms develope d earlier for untwisted affine Kac-Moody algebras is investigated. The conj ugacy classes of involutive automorphisms and the corresponding real forms are deduced explicitly for the special case of A(2)((2)).
