Abstract
Angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy measurements on the O-2 molecule are reported, from which beta-parameters and vibrational branching ratios h ave been calculated. The measurements were made with good optical resolutio n in the wavelength region 670-740 Angstrom, where several series converge to the b(4)Sigma(g)(-) State of O-2(+). The application of the measurements to identifying resonant structure is discussed, and evidence presented for a new series converging to the b state.
