Electrophysical and catalytic properties of poly(p-xylylene) films containi
ng palladium nanoparticles were studied. For the samples containing 8 vol %
of palladium, the ratio between trans- and cis-1,4-dichlorobutene formed b
y 3,4-dichlorobutene isomerization is similar to 2, whereas for the samples
with lower concentration of palladium, this ratio is 8. These facts correl
ate with the attainment of the percolation threshold of the sample conducti
vity, and this is associated with the formation of palladium nanoparticle e
nsemble.
