Abstract
Inversion theorems for generalized block Loewner matrices with non-square b locks are presented. Connections are made to the general (i.e. Hermite) mat rix rational interpolation, theory of partial realization and its extension s, theoretical and computational aspects of many other special types of mat rices such as block Hankel, block Toeplitz, Vandermonde, block Bezout, etc. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Inc.
