Abstract
Epitaxial thin films of La0.67Ca0.33MnO3-delta were sputtered in pure oxyge n on LaAlO3. By in situ postannealing in an oxygen atmosphere T-C and T-MI are found to be optimized to values of 274 K and 286 K, respectively. These values are much higher than those obtained for films in the literature. Th e results show that the magnetic properties strongly depend on the oxygen c ontent in the films.
