Abstract
Integral parts of biotic production-destruction balance, the mechanism and contribution of water bodies of this kind (marginal areas of the ocean) to the planetary cycle, flows of CO2 and O-2, as well as to for mation of oil and gas sites are analyzed by the example of one more la rge near-continental marine body, the Bering Sea.
