Abstract
The CMD-2 detector has been running on the electron-positron collider VEPP- 2M at Novosibirsk since 1992. The cylindrical drift chamber of the detector has a jet-like cell design. The coordinate along the wire is measured with the help of a charge division technique. Some details of the chamber desig n and calibration procedure are presented together with the obtained angula r and momentum resolution. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserv ed.
