Abstract
We study the static spherically symmetric equilibrium configurations made f
rom two kinds of bosons with different masses and their stabilities. The re
sulting configurations can have larger gravitational redshift than the ordi
nary boson stars. We find that the limiting value of the redshift is 1.08 f
or the mass ratio alpha much greater than 1. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
