roblem during general anaesthesia. This case report documents the susceptib
ility of arytenoids to prolapse in paediatric patients during halothane ana
esthesia. The use of video endoscopy provides an excellent tool for visuali
zing this type of airway obstruction; and continuous positive airway pressu
re is an effective treatment for clearing the airway.
