Abstract
The aim of this work is to study the seasonal variation of essential oil yi eld and composition of L. junelliana. These variations influence directly i n the accumulation of essential oils. The maximum accumulation (observed in the summer) is associated with temperature, photoperiod, light intensity a nd water availability However, these environmental variations have little e ffect on the composition of the volatile oils.
