Abstract
Evolution of microstructure and morphology of Co particles in a Co/SiO2 cat
alyst during oxidation-reduction treatment was studied by electron microsco
py methods. Attention was paid to phenomena taking place on the surface of
particles. The redispersion of Co particles and surface roughening were obs
erved. Catalytic activity was tested by benzene hydrogenation. (C) 1998 Els
