Abstract
Shallow donors in ZnO are used to investigate the quadrupole interacti on in single crystals. From the resolved quadrupole splitting, we dete rmine the electric field gradients at the Zn-67 and the O-17 site. A m agnetic double-resonance technique both increases the sensitivity and the accuracy of the field gradient determination. The data for ZnO are compared to previous results on GaN.
