Abstract
Detectors based on the PADC plastic, made by Pershore and TASL, were i rradiated with protons, alpha particles, and monoenergetic neutrons fr om an accelerator, and with broad-spectra neutrons from Am-Be and Cf-2 52 neutron sources. Latent tracks were etched in a two-step electroche mical procedure and measured using an image analysis system. Track siz e distributions were determined showing systematic changes with the qu ality of charged particle spectra.
