Abstract
We describe two cases of acute myeloblastic leukemia, classified as M4 and M5 in the French-American-British nomenclature, with an 11q23 rearrangement at karyotypic analysis. The involvement of the MLL gene with two new partn er loci on chromosome 10q22 and 8q24, respectively, was demonstrated by flu orescence in situ hybridization using a YAC clone B22B2L.
