Abstract
High heat fluxes can be achieved using subcooled flow boiling, where bulk t emperature of the fluid is below the saturation temperature, thus, making i t useful in intensive cooling processes. The authors present and discuss me asurements investigating a wide range of heat transfer mechanisms from sing le phase convection to inverted annular flow film boiling.
