Abstract
To study possible graphological characteristics in migraine patients (MS de finition), a controlled protocol was conducted in 3 groups of female subjec ts 20-50 y. old : 10 normal subjects, 20 migraine patients, 10 tension head ache patients (IHS definition). The diagnosis was established by a clinicia n according to the IHS criteria The selection and application of graphologi cal tests were performed by a graphologist who also analysed in blind forma t. This single-blind controlled study failed to establish the diagnosis of mig raine on the basis of the graphological characteristics of the subjects tes ted. It indirectly corroborates recent studies concerning the absence of sp ecific psychological characteristics of migraine patients, assuming that th is technique is sufficient to detect them.
