Evaluation of the performance of line protection schemes on the NYSEG six phase transmission system

This paper describes the performance of different line protection schemes d uring testing and operation which were used to protect the first commercial ly operated six phase transmission line in the world - the New York State E lectric and Gas 93kV (phase to phase and phase to ground) line from Goudey station to Oakdale substation.
