Abstract
Comparative studies are presented on the gas-phase mass transfer for six me tal ring dumped packings and five metal structured packings. The studies we re conducted in a column 250 mm in diameter and for the system ammonia-air- water. Based on the experimental results, there are developed equations des cribing the gas-phase mass transfer coefficient for the packings investigat ed.
