Abstract
Tibial shaft fracture after tibial tubercle osteotomy in total knee replace ment is a rare complication. We report on a 67-year-old man who had a knee revision arthroplasty in which a long tubercle osteotomy was performed to f acilitate exposure. Three weeks after surgery, he presented with a transver se shaft fracture, which became a nonunion requiring surgical management. T his shaft nonunion and its solution after tibial tubercle osteotomy is disc ussed as well as relevant literature.
