Abstract
Electron temperature anisotropy has recently been shown through X-ray spectrum experiments and numerical analyses. It is well known that tem perature anisotropy causes many kinds of microscopic instabilities, su ch as self-generation of magnetic fields. There have been many reports about the observation of strong magnetic fields in ultra-intense lase rs. It is important to simulate a plasma system using three-dimensiona l models and methods in order to investigate many types of temperature anisotropy, three-dimensional structures and nonlinear phenomena rela ted to these large-amplitude magnetic fields. In this work, we will de monstrate 3-D particle-in-cell (PIG) simulation and compare the result s with recent data.
