Abstract
Poly(acrylic acid)-metal nanocomposites were synthesized by irradiating the solutions of metal ions (Ag+, Cu2+, Ni2+) in acrylic acid monomer with gam ma-ray. The products are characterized by XRD and TEM. It was found that th e nanometer metal particles are well dispersed in poly(acrylic acid) with a narrow-size distribution.
