Electron cyclotron resonances in bilayer quasi two-dimensional electron sys
tems are examined in the extreme magnetic quantum limit. The variation of t
he resonance frequencies with electron density strongly depends on the thic
kness of the barrier between the two layers. In samples with sufficiently t
hin barriers there is strong evidence for the presence of interlayer Coulom
b coupling and influences of wavefunction delocalization effects. (C) 1998
