Abstract
We present perturbation theory results for the Coulomb interactions between electrons, and between electrons and holes, in small quantum dots. The res ults are used to model both capacitance and interband spectroscopy on charg e-tunable, self-assembled dots. At the level of the experimental resolution , currently limited by the inhomogeneous broadening in the dot ensemble, th e model calculations reproduce the experimental results extremely well.
