F. Abe et al., Search for Higgs bosons produced in association with a vector boson in p(p)over-bar collisions at root s=1.8 TeV, PHYS REV L, 81(26), 1998, pp. 5748-5753
We search for Higgs bosons produced in association with a massive vector bo
son in 91 +/- 7 pb(-1) of p(p)over-bar collisions at root s = 1.8 TeV recor
ded by the Collider Detector at Fermilab. We assume the Higgs scalar H-0 de
cays to a b(b)over-bar pair with branching ratio beta, and we consider the
hadronic decays of the vector boson V(W or Z). Observations are consistent
with background expectations. We place 95% confidence level upper limits on
sigma(p(p)-over-bar --> (HV)-V-0)beta as a function of the scalar mass (M-
H0) over the range 70 less-than M-H0 less-than 140 GeV/c(2). When combined
with an analysis of the case where V is a leptonically decaying W, these li
mits vary from 23 ph at M-H0 = 70 GeV/c(2) to 17 pb at M-H0 = 140 GeV/c(2).
