Abstract
We study spatially homogeneous models with a perfect fluid and a scalar fie ld with an exponential potential and we show that in addition to the usual isotropic spatially flat scaling solutions there are anisotropic scaling so lutions. We discuss the stability of these anisotropic scaling solutions wi thin a particular class of Bianchi type models. (C) 1998:Elsevier Science B .V.
