Abstract
We construct the supermembrane action in an AdS(4) x S-7 and AdS(7) x S-4 b ackground to all orders in anticommuting coordinates. The result is compare d to and agrees completely with results obtained earlier for generic superg ravity backgrounds through gauge completion at low orders in theta. (C) 199 8 Elsevier Science B.V.
