MUSCULAR PERFORMANCE AS AN INDEPENDENT FA CTOR OF RISK TO DEVELOP ARTERIAL-HYPERTENSION

Whether an independent relationship exists between muscular performanc e (MP) and arterial pressure (AP) was investigated in subjects with no rmal AP, borderline AP and arterial hypertension using different varia nts of the parameters distribution and link (maximal, minimal MP, norm al AP, borderline AP, hypertension with sex and age ranges 30-39, 40-4 9, 50-59, 60-69). It was found that: AP significantly increases with M P lowering, age is not a key factor in relations between MP and AP, MP is an independent factor of the hypertension risk, the risk of hypert ension declines with growing MP.
