Abstract
Endometrial polyps are one of the most common organic cause of abnormal ute rine bleeding (AUB), both in fertile and menopausal age. Hysteroscopy permi ts to see directly these formations, and to define their characteristics, f or an eventual surgical approch. The endoscopic resection, avoiedes a traum atism to the healthy endometrial mucosa, becoming an elective surgery. We h ave evaluated our experience in 1386 patients investigated from January 199 5 to July 1998.
