Abstract
In 20 patients with inducible Ventricular tachycardia (VT), intravenous bre tylium tosylate infused as a 10-mg/kg bolus followed by 2 mg/min caused no change in refractory periods and did not suppress inducibility of VT. The u se of bretylium for the treatment of VT should be reexamined.
